We’re looking for a Corporate Recruiter to join the People team and play a key role in driving that growth. As part of the team, you will join a collaborative, solutions-oriented group that partners closely with leaders to ensure we’re building not just quickly - but wisely. You’ll be responsible for more than just filling roles: your work will directly shape the future of our company. You’ll own full-cycle recruiting, partner closely with hiring managers across the company, help shape our hiring strategy, identify top talent, and ensure candidates have a clear, consistent experience from start to finish.We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced tech environment.

What you do at Avant:
Corporate Recruitment
- Manage full-cycle recruiting across a variety of roles, supporting teams throughout the business as we continue to grow
- Source and engage candidates using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, and track progress through our applicant tracking system
- Review inbound and sourced talent with a focus on quality, alignment, and long-term potential
- Ensure consistency in candidate communication and feedback across every stage of the process
Strategic Partnership
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, shape interview plans, and align on decision-making
- Track and analyze key recruiting metrics to inform process improvements, ensure quality hiring and influence hiring decisions
- Conduct interviews, lead candidate debriefs, and support offer strategy and negotiation
- Communicate clearly and thoughtfully with all candidates, including those not moving forward
- Partner with the recruiting coordinator to handle scheduling and logistics
- Support broader strategic efforts across the People team to improve recruiting processes, tools, and overall efficiency
Why you bring to Avant:
- 3 to 5 years of corporate recruiting experience with a strong track record in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Confident managing multiple searches and stakeholders at once, with a clear, solutions-focused approach
- Strong communicator who can build trust and collaborate across a range of teams including Risk, Legal, Compliance, Ops, Product, Tech, and Finance
- Experienced in sourcing and pipeline management using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Built In, and Workday (required)
- Comfortable recruiting across time zones and geographies
- Committed to delivering a great candidate experience and supporting inclusive hiring practices
- Bring a strong sense of ownership to your work and care about quality at every stage
- Experience in fintech or a similarly dynamic environment is a plus
This role is based on our downtown Chicago Office, located in the Merchandise Mart. We highly value collaboration and our hybrid schedule (M, T, Th in-office) enables flexibility to balance work and individual priorities.
Compensation Range:
The base salary range for this job is USD $60,000 - $75,000 USD $ / Year
Employees new to Avant typically come in below the midpoint of the pay range.
The compensation range is based on the level outlined in the job posting, and compensation decisions are dependent on each applicant's experience, skills and abilities. [If an outstanding applicant's experience and skill level is above or below the qualifications outlined in the job posting, we reserve the right to make an offer at a different level than the one listed in this job posting, which may have a different compensation range.]This role is eligible for additional incentives, including an annual bonus.
