AEP Platform Developer | About You
As an AEP Platform Developer, you are responsible for extending and customizing Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) capabilities through hands-on development and automation. You bring a strong foundation in API design, data pipelines, and CI/CD practices, and are excited to work across teams to unlock AEP’s full potential. You enjoy building scalable solutions that connect systems, automate complex processes, and improve platform efficiency. You’re comfortable supporting both technical and marketing teams, translating needs into reliable and reusable solutions.

AEP Platform Developer | Day-to-Day
- Create custom data ingestion connectors using Adobe I/O Runtime, Webhooks, and Adobe APIs.
- Write and manage API integrations between AEP and non-Adobe systems to enable seamless data exchange.
- Automate identity stitching and data governance policies within the platform.
- Extend Real-Time CDP capabilities using external workflows and serverless functions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to manage AEP schema updates, segment deployments, and configuration changes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and scale data ingestion pipelines and profile merge logic to maintain performance.
AEP Platform Developer | Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, or martech platform roles.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe I/O, Adobe Launch, and related APIs.
- Proficiency in API development and integration across cloud-based systems.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation for AEP workflows and configurations.
- Strong understanding of data ingestion patterns, customer identity stitching, and governance policies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work across technical and business teams.
