POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Coordinator supports the Project Management team by providing critical administrative and operational assistance. This role involves coordinating project schedules, maintaining documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external stakeholders. A Project Coordinator plays an essential role in enabling Project Managers to deliver projects on time and within scope.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Support Project Managers by preparing design and construction drawing requests and following up with relevant teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in managing various phases of projects, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Coordinate work orders, change orders, and amendment orders; review with Project Managers before submission.
- Organize and maintain accurate job files and documentation within the ERP system.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors to resolve issues and ensure alignment.
- Facilitate project tracking by updating schedules and project tasks to ensure accurate timelines.
- Conduct follow-ups on approvals, permits, and other required documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years of experience in a project support or administrative role.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Manual dexterity to operate a computer to perform basic clerical functions. Visual acuity (with correction) and the ability to speak and hear. The work is sedentary, with occasional walking, standing, bending, and carrying of light items such as papers and books.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment includes both office settings and manufacturing facilities. This role may involve occasional exposure to factory conditions such as noise, fumes, dust, and mist.
TRAVEL
This position requires limited travel (up to 5%). to work outside of regular hours to meet project deadlines when necessary.
COMPENSATION
