UltraViolet Cyber is headquartered in McLean, Virginia, with global offices across the U.S. and in India. UltraViolet Cyber is seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to join and support our IAM team with access management initiatives using CyberArk, Venafi, Thales, and Zscaler solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of IAM best practices and hands-on experience with the specific platforms.
What You'll Do:
- Support the design, implementation, and maintaining of IAM solutions using CyberArk, Venafi, Thales, and Zscaler technologies
- Deep expertise with secure management of digital identities, privileged access, machine identities, and cloud-based security infrastructure.
- Manage user lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, and offboarding across multiple systems
- Develop and maintain policies, standards, and procedures related to IAM, privileged management, and certificate lifecycle management
- Conduct regular access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies as well as submit in-depth operational and performance reports
- Troubleshoot complex IAM issues and provide technical support to end-users and IT support teams
- Document and map the architecture of the current IAM solutions
- Support the development of a Security Engineering Tool roadmap
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall security posture through automation
- Stay current with emerging security technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements or additions.
What You Have:
- Ability to attain DHS EOD - US Citizenship required
- ITIL V4 Foundations certification (or obtain in first 6 months)
- MA/MS or equivalent +10 years of experience (BA/BS + 13yrs or AA/AS +15yrs)
- Significant experience in IAM with at least 3 years focused on privileged access management
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with CyberArk, CA PAM, and Thales IAM solutions
- Strong understanding of identity management concepts, authentication protocols, and security best practices
- Proficient with cloud IAM implementations
- 4 or more years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT support
- Demonstrated experience managing and resolving ticket queues via ServiceNow
- Experience working with and guiding technicians with varying skill levels and supporting end users remotely
- Experience with security tools and technologies, like SIEM, IDS/IPS, Scanning & Monitoring solutions, and firewalls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in optimizing security workflows
- Professional, customer-oriented, and even-keeled under pressure
- Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal

- CyberArk Defender
- CyberArk Sentry
- Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)
- IAPP Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT)
- Certified Identity Governance Expert (CIGE)
- Significant experience with DevOps practice and tools
- Cybersecurity relevant certification Security +, CEH, GPEN, OSEP, Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)

$130,000 - $165,000 a yearUltraViolet Cyber maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect our company's differing products, services, industries and lines of business.
