Customer Service Team


 to support our outside sales team. Based in Houston, TX, the primary responsibility of the 

Inside Sales /Customer Service Representative 


is to provide the highest degree of technical support and respond to inquiries to our customers and Account Managers.

What You'll Do:


Maintain and improve Customer relationshipsAddress Customers’ needsAssist & Support Account ManagersProvide accurate product information, pricing and availability in a fast pace environmentNegotiate sale and purchase priceAssist with customer returnsExpedite and route materialProvide product literatureTechnical assistanceUpload data on Customer internet portalsCreate quotes and sales ordersAssist with pulling inventory and preparing shipmentsFollow up with Customers to provide accurate delivery dates and updated order statusOutbound prospecting calls to grow our market and sell value-add servicesUpdate customer information in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systemOther duties may be required

What We Need from You:


2+ years of experience and/or a 2-year Associates or Technical degreeExperience in Industrial Distribution or allied industry experience 

(Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Fluid Power, Electrical, Power Transmission, Motors, and Motion Control)


 is preferred. Proficient with software programs relating to the customer service positionProficient with software programs relating to the customer service position including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, E-mail and vendor pricing programsWorking experience with Trend is a plusStrong analytical, mathematical, and mechanical aptitudeWe are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer M/F/V/D.
