We’re hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in both independent and assisted living. You’ll report to the nurse on duty and play a key role in delivering daily care and keeping things running smoothly. This is hands-on work—expect to move, lift, and stay active for most of your shift.
What You’ll Do:
Help with daily activities like bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and moving aroundSupport residents with toileting, incontinence care, and oral hygieneTrack and report changes in health or behavior to the nurse on dutySet up rooms, beds, and personal spaces before and after resident transfersTransport residents in wheelchairs and assist with walkingEncourage residents to join activities and maintain mobilityReinforce physical therapy exercises (like Range of Motion routines)Follow all infection control and safety protocolsDocument care tasks and report accidents or unusual behaviorTake part in fire drills, emergency procedures, and staff meetings
What You’ll Need:
Active California CNA certificationCurrent BLS or CPR certificationHigh school diploma or GED6+ months CNA experience in acute or long-term care (or a strong reference from your program instructor)Must pass a physical exam and TB test or chest X-ray before startingDOJ fingerprint clearance requiredComfortable speaking and understanding English; bilingual is a plus
