Responsibilities Include:
- Assist the Government in developing and administering configuration management plans; maintaining design traceability and integrity; and convening and managing change boards.
- Work closely with functional managers in an integrated product team environment.
- Participate in cross-functional change control boards to evaluate proposed changes.
- Review and analyze proposed changes to ensure operational and sustainment capabilities are not adversely affected by the changes.
- Prepare for, conduct, and/or support major audits such as Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs).
- Record and maintain assessment and audit findings, minutes, and action items.
- Recommend and document comprehensive configuration management plans for software, hardware, firmware, and peripherals for IT systems.
- Be able to develop or perform logistics support that involves planning, coordinating, or evaluating hardware and software to support AFNWC/NCC systems.
- Support AFNWC/NCC in performing hardware and software asset management processes.
- Maintain accurate inventories of program hardware assets.
- Maintain other asset tracking tools as necessary for IPT inventory management responsibilities.
- Compare data from the Asset Database with the Remedy Asset Management Systems (or system of record). Import/export data as necessary and ensure both data sources match.
- Utilize the Remedy Asset Management System (or system of record) and ensure software and hardware configuration items are accurate and kept up-to-date. Ensure assets are correctly tagged/identified.
- Create Asset Relationships in the Remedy Asset Management System (or system of record).
- Update asset records to link hardware and software support contracts to the physical hardware asset. Ensure Remedy accurately shows how software relates to our virtual and physical hardware and how our software and hardware contracts relate to our virtual and physical hardware.
- Track hardware and software maintenance contracts and monitor contract statutes for accuracy and compliance.
- Support Government processes and justifications for new hardware/software purchases and renewals.

Years of Experience:20 years of directly related experience to include:
- 8 years supporting the DoD
- Experienceadministering configuration management plans; maintaining design traceability and integrity; and convening and managing change boards.
- Experience in maintaining accurate inventories of program hardware assets.
- Experience in maintaining other asset tracking tools as necessary for IPT inventory management responsibilities.
- Experience utilizing the Remedy Asset Management System (or system of record) and ensuring software and hardware configuration items are accurate and kept up-to-date. Ensure assets are correctly tagged/identified.
