Job Requisition: Senior Data Scientist

This role demands a seasoned professional who can lead complex data science projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.Key Responsibilities
- Apply comprehensive data science expertise across high-impact assignments
- Lead major technology initiatives and evaluate performance outcomes
- Recommend strategic changes to enhance project growth and success
- Serve as a technical expert across multiple concurrent projects
- Supervise junior data scientists and analysts as needed
- Collaborate with nontechnical national security personnel to identify data needs and deliver timely solutions
- Design and lead machine learning (ML), statistical, and data analysis tasks
- Conduct custom ETL processes to aggregate and condition data from diverse sources
- Interpret complex datasets, identify key features, assess model quality, and propose alternatives
- Innovate new methods for handling and analyzing large-scale data
- Develop software to enhance data search and retention processes
- Automate workflows and routine analysis tasks
- Communicate findings clearly and provide actionable recommendations
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
Experience Substitution:
- 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in data science, Mathematics, Information Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field
- OR 4+ years of relevant experience with a master’s degree in a related discipline
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in data science and analytics
- Proven leadership in technical project execution
- [Required] High proficiency in Python
- Strong understanding of ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and data engineering
- Experience with ETL pipelines and data conditioning
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
- Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph
