Job Summary:
Complete Network is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Associate Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical skills and a desire to learn and develop a career in IT consulting and strategy. The Associate vCIO will work closely with our Senior vCIOs and clients, providing administrative support, assisting with technical assessments, and contributing to strategic IT planning. This role offers significant promotional opportunities for a dedicated individual looking to advance into a vCIO role.Location: Hybrid in Market or Fully-RemoteResponsibilities:

  • Assist Senior vCIOs with client meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking detailed notes.
  • Support the creation of IT roadmaps, budget proposals, and technology recommendations for clients.
  • Conduct basic technical assessments and audits of client IT environments, documenting findings.
  • Help prepare client-facing reports and presentations.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation, including IT infrastructure details, software licenses, and service histories.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to understand client issues and potential strategic implications.
  • Research new technologies and industry best practices to inform client recommendations.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required to support the vCIO team.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance knowledge of IT strategy, business operations, and client management.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of core IT infrastructure components (networking, servers, cloud services, cybersecurity concepts).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze technical issues and contribute to solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Learning Agility: Eagerness to learn new technologies, business processes, and consulting methodologies.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Professional and personable demeanor with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an IT support, systems administration, or similar technical role, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

Desired Skills (but not required):

  • Familiarity with ITIL framework or other IT service management best practices.
  • Experience with IT project management.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
