This role demands deep technical expertise in system level components, strategic thinking, and leadership in quality assurance practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable test automation frameworks tailored for IoT and embedded systems.
- Define comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans aligned with product goals.
- Mentor and guide automation engineers, fostering a culture of quality and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets performance and reliability standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug system-level issues in Linux-based environments.
- Drive continuous integration and testing practices to support agile development cycles.
Requirements:
- 8–15 years of hands-on experience in software automation within the embedded systems or automative domain or in IOT Domain.
- Proficiency in Python (preferred) or other programming languages used in automation.
- Proven experience in designing E2E automation strategies for IoT devices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Strong understanding of Linux systems and debugging tools.
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience in IoT or automotive domains is highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of various testing methodologies (e.g., BDD, TDD, exploratory testing).
- Innovative mindset with the ability to design creative automation solutions.
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior QA engineers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
