cFocus Software seeks a Cybersecurity Architect to join our program supporting the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This position is on-site in Washington, DC.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technologies, or other related fields
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) certifications required. and Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- 7+ years of experience performing cyber infrastructure support activities in Enterprise Cybersecurity Support government contracts
- Core competencies in Cybersecurity Engineering practices
- Possess the knowledge, skills, tasks, and capabilities described in the Work Role for Infrastructure Support (PD-WRL-004) as outlined in the NICE Work Role Framework
- 7+ years of experience with NIST SP 800-37 & SP 800-160
Duties:
- Advise and assist the FCC with cybersecurity architecture activities for all FCC cybersecurity information systems initiatives that support all cybersecurity tools and capabilities.
- Collaborate with the OCIO to configure, build, provide recommendations, and ensure all hardware and software is IPv6 compliant with the direction set forth by the FCC OCIO.
- Conduct security analysis of reference models, segment and solution architectures, and systems supporting missions and business processes.
- Provide expert recommendations in support of ‘Analysis of Alternatives’ (AoA) to inform the agency technology roadmap.
- Design enterprise and systems security throughout the SDLC. translate technology, law, and regulation into security designs and processes.
- Capture and develop security requirements based on information system architecture, operational environments, and technology types.
- Assist in developing and maintaining FCC cybersecurity standards, specifications, and handbooks
