Tenstorrent is hiring an SoC Security Architect to lead the architecture definition of security features across our cutting-edge semiconductor products. You'll tackle challenges in RISC-V CPU security, AI hardware protection, confidential computing, and automotive-grade security. Your work ensures the trust, integrity, and resilience of silicon across a broad portfolio. Collaborate across disciplines to integrate security at every stage—from architecture to implementation and verification. This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about solving deep security problems at the hardware-software boundary.This role isremote, based out of The United States.We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role.

Who You Are


  • Define and architect secure chip features, collaborating with hardware, software, and systems teams.
  • Develop and apply threat models, identify vulnerabilities, and drive risk mitigation.
  • Implement secure protocols, encryption schemes, and cryptographic primitives.
  • Conduct security reviews, penetration testing, and validation of architectural defenses.
  • Ensure compliance with standards like FIPS 140-3, ISO 21434, and Common Criteria.

What We Need


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in chip-level or embedded security design and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of cryptography, secure protocols, and threat modeling.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, scripting, and familiarity with RTL coding standards.
  • Hands-on with security assessment tools and compliance processes.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets.
