We’re looking for a hands-on senior engineer who is comfortable coding daily, while also mentoring peers and influencing cross-team technical direction. This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills – you must be able to explain complex technical solutions clearly, earn buy-in across Engineering and Product teams, and help shape how multiple teams align and deliver together.
The ideal candidate has deep experience with Node.js, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and a solid understanding of React for frontend system integration. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about automation, system reliability, and developer productivity.

- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure using GCP (GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery) with a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation to improve developer productivity and release quality.
- Partner closely with DevOps, QA, Product, and Leadership to align on decisions that impact broader platform and build seamless end-to-end experiences
- Implement best practices for observability, monitoring, logging, and security
- Mentor and guide engineers at other levels, providing technical reviews, driving discussions, setting coding standards and sharing best practices.
- Lead initiatives to improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance
- Stay current with industry trends and advocate for continuous improvement and innovation
- Break down and articulate complex problems into clear, actionable solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, strong experience with Node.js for backend services and React for frontend integration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure transferrable), Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD Pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container-based architecture
- Proficiency with GraphQL or similar real-time API frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, or similar)
- Proven ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to engineers, product managers, and leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset, ability to mentor other engineers and drive alignment across teams.
- Preferred:
- Experience in eCommerce Platforms or other large-scale, high-traffic systems
- Background in microservices architecture, service mesh, and event-driven-design.
- Knowledge of WebSockets, or other real-time communication protocols
- Experience with serverless platforms or edge computing
- Contributions to open-source projects
