Position: Leasing Specialist for The Edison Lofts - downtown Raleigh, NC
Role Overview
As a Leasing Specialist, your primary focus is to lease apartment-homes in a very competitive market. In addition, you will deliver exceptional customer service to meet the ongoing needs of current residents. Competitive hourly rate + commission + 20% rent discount (if needed) + company events + paid training and certifications + health/dental/vision/401K.
Most Important Responsibilities
- Build rapport with prospects to lease apartments in a competitive market.
- Manage the queue daily to follow up with any leads.
- Provide stellar customer service to our current residents.
- Plan social events for our residents to create a fun experience.
- Display professionalism and poise, even when things get difficult.
- Take ownership of issues and help problem-solve throughout the day.
- Understand our product in the market and be able to articulate its value.
- Collaborate with your team to satisfy the unique needs of prospects and residents.
Most Important Qualifications
- Leasing experience strongly preferred
- Must be willing to work 2-3 Saturdays per month (still enjoy 40 hours per week)
- Vehicle and driver's license
- Ability to "sell"/lease apartments in a competitive market
- Self-motivation and drive quick on your feet with a strong work ethic
- Market knowledge relative to Raleigh a plus
- People skills, ability to have conversations with prospects and listen to their real needs so you can build rapport and trust
- Charisma, must be likeable to prospects and residents.
- Empathy, relating to the customers and supporting them.
- Confidence, never let go of opportunities and stay positive.
