Michigan Evaluation Group (MEG), a Medlogix Company, specializes in worker’s compensation, auto no-fault, general disability, and liability claims. Our physicians are from various specialties who will provide a detailed picture of an individual’s medical status upon evaluation. The MEG staff is comprised of former claims professionals seeking to provide each of our clients with a detailed and comprehensive report that enables them to better evaluate their claims. It is our policy that every service specialist renders their own independent and unbiased opinion based upon the merits of each case.
M.E.G takes pride in providing the independent expert with the necessary support and services to ensure the delivery of a quality independent evaluation and/or file review.
Overview:
Assisting the records, scheduling, and QA teams with administrative support.
Essential Job Functions:
- Contact claimants to confirm upcoming appointments when needed.
- Contact doctors to obtain appointment statuses (show/no show) when needed.
- Assist the staff in answering any incoming calls when needed.
- Request medical records from our clients daily.
- Process incoming medical records (received via USPS, couriers, email or portable storage devices). All records and images must be accessed and logged into MyMedlogix and processed appropriately (Chronological or By Providers).
- Scan and send out Medical Records to Physicians daily (via UPS, email or fax).
- Send out follow up requests to clients for medical records and/or Physician cover letters.
- File No show charts and media storage in file room.
- Support other offices, attend meetings, and complete training as assigned.

- Must have strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Maintains knowledge of and complies with company compliance and standards, policies, and procedures, including Company’s Employee Handbook.
- Maintains complete knowledge of office services and in the use of all relevant office equipment, computer, and manual systems.
- Maintains strict patient and employee confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Serves as a role model, by demonstrating exceptional ability and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities. Embraces new ideas and respects cultural differences.
- Uses resources efficiently. Follow established protocols.
- Monitors, organizes, and keeps work area neat.
Essential Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GEDCredentials/Licensure: NoneMinimum Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a professional office setting, Office 365 Suite experience.
