IonQ is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Logistics Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring seamless flow from procurement to customer delivery, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, with specific expertise in ERP and MRP systems, import/export compliance, and warehouse/logistics management.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze supply chain data (e.g., inventory levels, lead times, freight costs, on-time delivery performance) to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks.
- Address and resolve logistics-related issues, such as shipping delays, damages, return material authorizations or discrepancies.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the ERP system (Oracle NetSuite), identifying and troubleshooting issues as needed, and ultimately driving to systemic fixes addressing root causes.
- Support/execute warehouse operations (receiving, shipping,kitting, issuing etc.) as needed at IonQ deployment sites for extended periods of time, as needed.
- Support import and export activities, adhering to relevant trade regulations.
- Prepare and manage necessary documentation for international shipments (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, certificates of origin) and interface with third-party logistics providers.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
You’d be a good fit with:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain functions, with a strong preference for logistics/ warehousing operations.
- ERP & MRP system experience, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
- Knowledge of U.S. import/export laws, export licensing and regulations, including the EAR and ITAR, and other relevant regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management, transportation, and distribution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to explain data requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
You’d be a great fit with:
- Experience working with suppliers, contractors, and employees on compliance-related matters, including data collection (PowerBI) and sharing, and ensuring ITAR compliance in all interactions.Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Export Specialist, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional, APICS CSCP/CPIM certification).
- Experience with emerging technology import/export regulations, bonus points if in the computer industry.
- Current holder of a US Customs Broker License

Travel:
Must be willing to travel to various IonQ sites (domestically and internationally) and deployment operations for extended periods of time.
