The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of how to marry business objectives with event experience, thrives in the weeds, is a detailed and organized planner, a creative problem-solver, and an expert communicator comfortable leading people at all levels.

What You'll Do:

  • Meeting with internal stakeholders (Agency, Channel and Sales teams or other internal teams)  to collaborate on event needs, goals, and success metrics. Establish clear roles and responsibilities. Enable attending staff with reports, event briefs, staff meetings, and other resources to ensure they're set up for success.
  • This person will be expected to become an agency subject matter expert (SME) – meaning, they will be required to fully learn and understand the needs of our agency partners and translate them into inviting, ROI-driving events and marketing initiatives with support from the broader team.
  • Developing comprehensive and organized event plans, including timelines, schedules, and task assignments that are visible to internal and external stakeholders. This involves coordinating with vendors, venues, and other service providers. Managing event requirements like registration, overseeing contracts, building internal event landing pages on CVENT or via our Web Dev team, working with internal teams to ensure accurate event reporting, and ordering and shipping required materials.
  • Developing and executing marketing strategies in collaboration with the broader marketing team, which can include social media, demand generation, design, content marketing and public relations, among other promotional strategies. Providing internal teams with detailed information, deadlines, and advance notice needed for them to carry out their work.
  • Overseeing the event on the day to ensure everything runs according to plan, handling any issues that arise, and managing the event staff.
  • Creating and managing the event budget, ensuring costs are controlled, submitting bills for payment, and reconciling corporate credit card charges.
  • Conducting analysis after the event to assess its success, gather attendee and stakeholder feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Update reports to track event success over time.
  • Assist with some of the planning and execution elements of iPX (our annual customer and thought leadership conference) as assigned.
  • Managing logistics and communication around VIP experiences for executives and VIP customers and partners (e.g. tickets for concerts and sporting events).
  • Planning and executing our annual Partnerships Titans event in collaboration with the Agency Innovation team. This is an exclusive, annual, multi-day event of about 50 key customers and industry contacts that we co-produce with one of our largest agency partners. While this person will serve as the project manager to ensure all the work is happening on time, they will very much own certain elements of the event, including: coordinating all logistics, serving as the primary contact for the venue and any activations or excursions, building the internal registration page in CVENT, helping to drive registration by requesting necessary marketing support (emails, social medial, etc) and reporting on registration/ticket sales and other event metrics.
