What You'll Do: Drive Insight and Innovation
As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of our data initiatives, playing a pivotal role in shaping our reporting future. You'll:
- Design and develop cutting-edge reporting solutions in Power BI and other platforms, ensuring they are efficient, accurate, and visually compelling.
- Translate complex business ideas into precise technical requirements, actively participating in their development and implementation.
- Become a key contributor to our migration to Microsoft Fabric, bringing your expertise to modernize our reporting stack.
- Leverage your SQL proficiency to write efficient queries and optimize database performance, ensuring our sales, marketing, and accounting teams have the critical data they need.
- Collaborate closely with data warehouse and application development teams to anticipate future needs and ensure data accuracy.
- Mentor and assist team members, sharing your technical expertise to overcome challenges and foster a collaborative environment.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring data reliability and consistency across multiple systems.
What You'll Bring: Your Expertise and Passion
We're seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in data analytics. You should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Report Design, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining reports at scale.
- 3+ years of direct experience partnering with business stakeholders, translating their needs into inventive data solutions.
- 3+ years of expertise with PowerBI, Reporting Services, or other leading reporting platforms.
- Exceptional proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts, including advanced techniques like window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with various data sources (SQL, data lake, file, API) and structured/semi-structured data formats (JSON, XML, CSV, and TXT).
- A proactive learning mindset with a passion for leveraging modern data engineering tools and techniques.
- The ability to thrive in a high-paced Agile development environment, balancing priorities and consistently delivering results.
