Regional Manager

PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. We are looking for energetic, results-driven individuals to join our rapidly growing team and industry.
The Regional Manager is responsible for building & leading the store and sales teams for Pharmacann. The successful candidate will be expected to execute Pharmacann’s Core objectives across all retail stores. The Regional Manager assumes responsibility for the overall success of the stores by setting targets and ensuring they are attained. This position will partner closely with Retail Operations, Compliance, Marketing, HR and IT to ensure objectives of the company are achieved. This position will play a critical role to ensure we have a pipeline of future sales leaders in hiring, training, developing and promoting field sales from entry-level roles up into management roles within the organization.

The Regional Manager is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.Salary range is $115-130k 

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities


  • Achieve increased retail store sales and KPI targets as they are launched.
  • Recruits, engages, and retains best in class talent.
  • Develop a plan for future growth by creating a culture dedicated to talent development and succession planning.
  • Coaches, mentors and leads in all aspects of producing an exceptional customer experience including customer service,visual presentation, and product knowledge.
  • Provide directional leadership, expectations, and priorities that support the Pharmacann brand experience.
  • Lead a team of store managers toward effective collaboration and attainment of goals.
  • Work with Operations, Marketing, IT, and Compliance teams to strive for operational excellence and strong regulatorycontrol.
  • Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve.
  • Work with VP Retail and HR on succession planning to build bench strength.
  • Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed organizational goals related to sales, profitability, and operationalexcellence.
  • Review and interpret financial and/or operational reports regularly, identify underperforming metrics or stores, and developa strategy for improvement .
  • Monitor the activities of employees, customers, and patients to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  • Provide effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to the Company’s vision,mission and values to maintain a positive work environment and a high level of morale.
  • Assist in opening new markets when applicable
  • This position requires up to 50% travel. Frequent travel within territory. Some travel outside of the State may be required.

Competencies and Qualifications



  • BA/BS – Business or Communications (preferable) or minimum 5 years of applicable or commensurate experience in asimilar level role (2 years PharmaCann/Medical Cannabis experience will be considered)
  • Experience with a proven track record in leading large retail and independent selling organizations
  • Exceptional knowledge and experience of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
  • Resource Development – driving sales and profitability
  • Excellent mentoring, training, and development skills
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility.
  • Solid organizational skills and a high-level attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skillset
  • Superior business acumen, planning, and target goal setting.

  • Ability to influence and lead change
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Must be able to secure appropriate work credentialsPreferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel and Google mail, calendar, documents.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements


  • Works from multiple locations, including home and retail dispensaries.
  • Must be able to travel on a regular basis to multiple locations.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, long hours, overtime as needed, weekends, holidays, and open work availability.
  • Can lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to withstand long hours working on a computer.
