Caliber is looking for a customer-service obsessed professional with experience in alternative investments to join our Investor Services team locally in Scottsdale, AZ. This is a full-time, in-office position, as it requires frequent communication with our team and our valued clients. The right candidate will bring a customer-centric and concierge approach to servicing our investors and will take pride in providing white glove service to investors and internal team member partners.
Essential Functions for this Role:
- Provide white glove customer service to investors and potential investors by walking alongside them through the investment process start to finish, acting as their trusted resource
- Answering incoming calls and emails from investors within the service level standards of Caliber
- Guide new investors through the full onboarding process, including KYC/AML documentation and investor accreditation verification
- Develop long-term relationships with investors by providing consistent, value-added support and communication
- Maintain investor account and prospect contact information, investment activity and private offering details in the Client Relationship Database (CRM)
- Process investor subscriptions through our managing Broker-Dealer, including working with custodians for IRA investments, transfer agents, selling group members, Broker-Dealers representatives and Registered Investment advisors
- Service investor requests and questions through providing exemplary customer support
- Facilitate investor communications and reporting
- Provide information for SEC Form D, State Blue Sky filings, pipeline and due diligence reporting to internal and external partners
- Complete ad hoc reporting requests to internal departments such as accounting, financial reporting and tax
- Complete annual Fair Market Valuation requests from IRA Custodians
- Identify and implement improvements in investor service workflows, documentation, and communication practices
- Document best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for investor services team members
- Attending Corporate events as needed
- Other job duties as assigned
Ideal Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivilent work experience
- 5+ years of Financial Services operational experience
- 5+ years of high-touch customer service experience
- Experience with alternative investments is required
- Experience working with Registered Investment Advisors is a plus
- Experience in CRM Systems is required – HubSpot experience is a big plus
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and DocuSign
- Dynamic thinker who works outside of the box to solve problems
- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
- Experience handling high volume requests, varying tasks and prioritization
- Organized, detailed oriented, ability to work under pressure and customer focused
Physical Demands:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. The team member frequently communicates with internal team members, investors and vendors. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine and printer. Occasionally moves items up to 50 lbs. for various projects.
