This professional acts as a trusted advisor, consulting on print strategy and delivering end-to-end communication solutions—such as managed print services, fulfillment logistics, packaging, promotions, and workflow automation—that drive client efficiency, brand consistency, and cost savings.Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Development: Identify, qualify, and pursue new enterprise-level opportunities within targeted industries or territories, leveraging a consultative approach tailored to the needs of large organizations.
- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for major client accounts, managing all aspects of the relationship, from initial engagement through implementation and ongoing support.
- Consultative Selling: Understand client objectives and design print communication solutions that align with their business goals, presenting detailed business proposals and demonstrating ROI.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams—including creative, production, logistics, and operations—to ensure seamless delivery of complex projects and consistent client satisfaction.
- Pricing & Negotiation: Structure and negotiate agreements, manage contract renewals, and ensure profitable business for both the client and the company.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and technological advancements in print communications to position your company as a leader in the space.
- Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets through new business acquisition, account expansion, and client retention.
- Reporting & Analysis: Monitor account performance, prepare regular business reviews, and recommend strategic actions for account growth and optimization.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Sales Expertise: 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within print communications, managed print services, or related industries. Proven track record of winning and managing large, complex accounts.
- Consultative Approach: Ability to uncover client pain points, articulate value propositions, and lead clients through long sales cycles.
- Communication: Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multi-faceted projects involving multiple internal teams and external partners.
- Technical Acumen: Adept and experienced in utilizing lead development technology such as ZoomInfo and marketing-integrated sales campaigns, including email, SMS, LinkedIn, and alike.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
