Certified Welding Inspector (Structural) at NOVA Engineering

NOVA Engineering is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector based out our

Charlotte, NC location. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests (masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, etc.).

Responsibilities:

Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements
Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.
Activities will include performing field testing and inspections
Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly
Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others
Input results and observations into daily reports

Requirements:

Current AWS CWI with Structural or Bridge Experience
ICC Structural Steel and Bolting & ICC Structural Welding Certifications highly preferred
