Position Title: Acquisition Specialist
Location: Hanover, MDClearance Required: Top Secret/SCI
Position Overview:
Join a collaborative and mission-driven team where your contributions directly support the Army’s readiness and modernization goals.The Acquisition Specialist supports planning and execution of acquisition strategies, document preparation, and coordination with contracting stakeholders. The role ensures compliance with DoD and Federal procurement policies throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Justifications and Approvals (J&As).
- Assist in the preparation and review of Acquisition Requirement Packages (ARPs).
- Track pre-award and post-award activities and coordinate with CORs and COs.
- Conduct market research and prepare acquisition planning documentation.
- Support source selection activities and evaluation documentation.
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Army acquisition regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contracting, or related field.
- 5–7 years of acquisition experience in a DoD or federal setting.
- Knowledge of the FAR/DFARS and DoD 5000 series acquisition policies.
- Strong written communication and document preparation skills.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
