As a Business Development Representative, you'll play a critical role in expanding our client base. You’ll work directly with the sales team to drive qualified leads through outbound campaigns, referrals, events, and our Circle of Influence strategy. Your work as a Business Development Representative will include several components:
• Proactively make outbound calls to targeted prospects to introduce our Managed IT Services.• Identify decision-makers and uncover IT-related pain points or needs.• Qualify leads based on defined criteria and schedule initial discovery meetings for account executives.• Maintain accurate records of all outreach activity and lead status in the CRM system.• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness.• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity and appointment-setting goals.• Prospect and qualify leads via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person networking.• Execute outbound campaigns to drive meetings for our sales team.• Assist in organizing events, webinars, and partner-driven initiatives• Follow up on referrals quickly and professionally.• Proactively build relationships with key referral partners.• Contribute to a growing sales pipeline that drives predictable revenue.
Our ideal Business Development Representative has the following qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles (preferably in tech or B2B services).• Strong communication and follow-up skills.• Self-motivated, organized, and hungry to learn.• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.• Bonus points for experience with MSPs, compliance-driven clients, or regional networking groups.If this seems like an opportunity that is appealing to you, let’s have a conversation.
