Full-timeDescriptionJoin our team in Spokane Valley at Renewal by Andersen of Washington - we're hiring a Permit Coordinator. This position is responsible for assembling all documents required for permitting and handling the submittal process. This is an important role in the company, as this position will be obtaining all building permits as needed for window and door installations. This role interfaces with numerous building departments in all territories and will complete tasks in accordance with company values, and strategic direction from the Permit Team Supervisor.

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate permit process including reviewing, submitting and issuing permits. 
  • Coordinate with project status to determine priority permit requirements.
  • Create and coordinate work orders and activities within software system. 
  • Consistently communicate with necessary cities and counties regarding the application process and permit details. 
  • Maintain and update necessary tracking systems. 
  • Create, coordinate and store, all necessary documentation and files. 
  • Coordinate with leadership regarding installation schedule and inspections.
  • Maintain current knowledge of code requirements related to company products and installation processes. 
  • Work collaboratively with others in operations to assist in obtaining permits.
  • Pick up permits from outside agencies as needed. 
  • Perform other related duties as necessary and assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous office or clerical experience is preferred.
  • Organized, self-motivated, ability to multi-task, and detail oriented.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and technical abilities.
  • Demonstrated professional communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and an insurable driving record per company standards.
