You will be responsible for go-to-market activities that help drive incremental revenue from partners and prospects through activating marketing channels, designing value propositions, and cultivating marketing partnerships. The B2C Marketing Team’s goal is to maximize how our partners distribute and monetize their content across all relevant e-commerce surfaces. This role would benefit from experience and/or understanding of gaming, payments, digital entertainment, and content distribution/monetization from both business and consumer lenses.

The role reports to the Senior Marketing Director, B2B & B2C and will be a key strategic collaborator of the Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand Design, Data, and Commercial Teams. ObjectivesDrive incremental revenue from partners and prospectsDevelop, execute, and optimize marketing plans for various campaigns: from in-game events, game launches, to seasonal campaigns. 1. e-Commerce surfaces include Codashop, webstores we build and manage through Coda Custom Commerce, other webstores we provide content to via our Coda Distribution network, and other webstores we provide alternative payment methods for through Codapay.2. Marketing channels span across earned, owned, and paid media covering awareness, engagement, and conversion objectives. 3. Value propositions include mechanics such as bonuses, discounts, cashback, exclusive SKUs, online and offline giveaways, etc. 4. Marketing partnerships involve working with payment channel partners, distribution partners, and brand partners for localized, incremental reach.Commercialize B2C Marketing ServicesDevelop and refine sales enablement materials that demonstrate the value-added service of B2C marketing vis-a-vis Coda’s products, including but not limited to pitch decks, case studies, and one-pager summaries.

Responsibilities


  • Campaign Planning & Execution: Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives and partner goals.
  • Campaign Reporting & Analytics: Track and report campaign performance, user engagement, and ROI, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize future marketing efforts.
  • Brand/Awareness Marketing Activation: Driving awareness and engagement with channels such as influencers, on-ground events, communities, social media, and out-of-home media, working closely with counterparts in B2C Marketing and Digital Marketing teams.
  • Conversion Marketing Activation: Driving conversion and retention with channels such as paid search, paid social, video, and affiliates.
  • Budget Planning & Management: Forecast and manage budget inputs and outputs regularly and in close collaboration with the Marketing and Finance Teams.
  • Identifying Strategic Opportunities: Determine opportunities to grow existing and new partners in close coordination with the Commercial Team. 
  • Marketing Partnerships: Work with payment channel, distribution, and brand partners to unlock localized, incremental reach for our publisher partners. This involves close collaboration with counterparts in B2C Marketing and Commercial Teams.
  • Sales Enablement Material Development: Develop and refine content that demonstrate the value-added service of B2C marketing vis-a-vis Coda’s products, including but not limited to pitch decks, case studies, and one-pager summaries. This involves close collaboration with Product Marketing, B2B Marketing, and Commercial Teams.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with B2C Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand Design, Product Marketing, and Commercial Teams to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. 
  • At least 8 years of experience in B2C and/or Growth Marketing.
  • Experience managing direct reports and working collaboratively across functions and teams
  • Proven track record of project managing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of B2C marketing principles and strategies, specifically on GTM strategy, integrated marketing communications, and growth/performance marketing
  • Knowledge of gaming, payments, digital entertainment, and content distribution/monetization verticals is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
