Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in daily food preparation and ensure high standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene are maintained across all dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Chef de Partie in food preparation and section management.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of all food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your designated kitchen section.
- Follow kitchen procedures and food safety guidelines.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and informing supervisors of any shortages.
- Uphold quality control and minimize wastage.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Culinary certification or training is a plus.
- Familiarity with food hygiene and safety standards (e.g., HACCP).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced service.
