About Your Role


Join Tigera's Developer Advocacy team in our vibrant downtown Vancouver office for an exciting 2-month internship focused on driving awareness and adoption of Calico open source. This hands-on role offers exposure to cutting-edge Kubernetes technology that powers AI workloads while providing valuable experience in content creation, AI agent development, and developer community engagement. For this position, we are looking to hire in Vancouver (Hybrid).Vancouver Salary Range: CAD 18$-20$hr for 30hr-35 hr/week

You Will:


Community Engagement

Support and energize the Calico Slack community by responding to questions, facilitating discussions, and promoting a welcoming, collaborative atmosphere.
Content CreationDevelop beginner-friendly tutorials, blog posts, and sample code to help users get hands-on with Calico’s features and capabilities.Documentation SupportAssist the engineering team in maintaining accurate and user-friendly documentation, identifying areas for clarification or expansion.Cross-Team CollaborationWork with the marketing and product teams to help communicate new features, create launch materials, and support community campaigns.Community FeedbackMonitor community channels to collect user feedback and share actionable insights with the engineering team.Certification ReviewReview Calico certification content and help identify areas that need updates or improvements based on new features or user feedback.Feature SpotlightsHelp create technical content that showcases Calico use cases, integrations, and best practices for Kubernetes networking and security.Content RepurposingTransform existing blog posts, tutorials, and docs into other formats like videos, infographics, and social media snippets.Trend ResearchStay informed on Kubernetes, CNI plugins, and cloud-native trends to inform content and keep the team aligned with ecosystem changes.What you will gainAI Agent Development

  • Build and deploy AI agents to automate content creation and repurposing workflows
  • Experiment with different AI tools and frameworks to optimize content production
  • Create systems for transforming technical documentation into engaging, accessible content formats

You Have:


This position is a great fit for anyone who is passionate about computers, has a knack for solving problems and is not intimidated by cameras or spotlight. 

Nice to have


  • Networking certification is a plus.
  • Experience building AI agents in any platform is a plus.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, docker, or containerization is a plus.
  • Experience with Linux is a plus.
  • Experience writing essays, or published articles on the internet is a plus.
  • Experience streaming, or having materials that shows you teaching something or doing a live webinar/meeting is a plus.
  • Experience, or degree in a course related to AI, models or transformers is a plus.
