About the Opportunity:
As a Staff Accountant, you will provide thoughtful and accurate accounting support to the Controller and VP of Finance, including taking ownership of certain key deliverables.Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Process and record financial transactions in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit purposes.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and Google Sheets/Excel
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience serving in a staff accountant or similar role
- Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision, while knowing when to ask for help when needed
