About Your Role 


Tigera is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Content Marketing Writer Contractor to ensure seamless execution of our marketing initiatives during a team members’ maternity leave. This role requires a strong understanding of content marketing, SEO, and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of activities, working closely with both internal and external teams.For this position, we are looking to hire in Vancouver (Hybrid).Vancouver Salary Range: CAD 35$-40$/hr

You Will:


  • Track and manage blog post publication schedule, including coordinating contributions from SMEs, optimizing blog content for SEO, publishing blog posts to Tigera’s blog via WordPress, and creating social media promotional content.
  • Lead the creation of our monthly newsletter content, including drafting some sections, collecting and editing updates from internal stakeholders, reviewing final designed newsletter, and securing approval for sending.
  • Oversee the publication of learn guides, including reviewing outlines, iterative edits, and publication, plus coordinate their promotion on social media. Work with our external SEO team on various SEO initiatives.
  • Manage end-to-end case study creation process: Write new case studies using customer interview transcripts, facilitate iterative edits with SMEs, and coordinate design, publication, and social media promotion.

You Have:


  • 5+ years of experience as a Content Marketing Writer with a strong focus on content marketing, SEO, and project management.
  • ​​Proven experience in managing complex marketing projects and initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to own tasks and work independently to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools for content generation, SEO analysis, data insights, and project management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in marketing workflows
  • Adept at repurposing content into different formats
  • Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, collaborative, and flexible
  • Proficiency with content management systems (WordPress, Canva) and project management tools (Trello, Asana).
  • Experience using a collaborative workflow across Google Workspace, especially Google Docs
  • Native-level English proficiency

  • Familiarity with or experience writing about any of the following topics: Network security & observability, cloud-native security, Kubernetes, eBPF, service mesh, cybersecurity vulnerabilities
