About the Role
As Vice President of Sales at Kryterion, you’ll be responsible for architecting and scaling a high-performing global sales organization. This is a mission-critical, cross-functional leadership role that goes beyond traditional sales management it includes strategic oversight of sales operations, alignment with our parent company and internal stakeholders, and ownership of go-to-market execution.You’ll lead a team of 7 and drive all aspects of Kryterion’s global sales strategy from pipeline development to international expansion with a focus on sustainable revenue growth and operational excellence.

As a member of the executive team, you’ll contribute to key decisions shaping our company’s growth, culture, and impact.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a bold, data-driven sales strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing, mission-aligned global sales team through hiring, coaching, and performance development.
  • Drive full-funnel sales execution, from demand generation to close, ensuring health and accuracy of pipeline forecasting.
  • Oversee sales operations: territory planning, quota setting, KPIs, compensation plans, and CRM utilization.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop scalable sales enablement programs, ensuring reps are equipped with the tools, content, and training to succeed.
  • Collaborate with Product, Client Success, Development, and Psychometrics to align roadmaps and optimize the customer journey.
  • Expand Kryterion’s global footprint with a focus on Europe and Japan — including go-to-market strategy, in-region hiring, and partnership development.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, product positioning, and market segmentation to maximize impact and market share.
  • Regularly present sales performance updates and strategic insights to the executive team and Global CEO.
  • Serve as a senior ambassador for Kryterion with enterprise customers, partners, and at industry events.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in B2B SaaS sales, with 5+ years in a senior executive leadership role.
  • Deep experience in the licensure, credentialing, or high-stakes assessment industry (strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated success scaling global sales teams and infrastructure in high-growth environments.
  • Proven track record in new business development, strategic account expansion, and international market entry (especially Europe and Japan).
  • Expertise in consultative/solution selling methodologies and enterprise deal cycles.
  • Strong operational acumen in sales process design, metrics, enablement, and revenue forecasting.
  • Experience aligning cross-functional stakeholders around shared revenue goals.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Passion for team development, trust-building, and performance culture.
