Position Purpose:
Design and maintain existing HubSpot systems
Job Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain automation workflows, email templates, and forms
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across marketing, sales, and customer success teams
- Document system configurations and maintain technical documentation
- Create documentation and standard operating procedures
- Offer technical support for day-to-day issues
- Lead HubSpot-related projects from requirements through implementation
- Coordinate with IT, marketing, and sales teams on system changes
- Develop and execute testing plans for new configurations
- Stay current with HubSpot updates and new features
- Conduct regular audits of workflows, lists, and properties to ensure optimal performance
- Design and implement solutions using HubSpot's tools (workflows, sequences, lists, etc.)
- Create custom reports and dashboards to track KPIs and business metrics
- Recommend process improvements based on system capabilities and best practices
- Maintain data quality and consistency across multiple HubSpot instances/portals
- Develop and enforce data governance standards for contact properties, custom objects, and workflows
- Integrate HubSpot with other business systems (CRM, marketing tools, etc.)
- Monitor data synchronization and resolve any integration issues
Job Requirements (including Education):
Required Experience:
- Advanced knowledge of HubSpot's core features including workflows, sequences, custom objects, and reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms
- 3+ years experience administering HubSpot, with demonstrated expertise in workflows, custom objects, and integrations
- HubSpot certifications (Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Operations Hub)
- Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Project management experience, particularly with technical implementations
- Knowledge of marketing and sales operations
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field
Preferred Experience:
- Data analysis and visualization skills
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email and landing page customization
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- Experience developing technical documentation and training materials
- As part of the interview process, you will be asked to provide writing samples and demonstrate HubSpot skills
