Expected Job Functions:
- Analyze, design, and deploy AI-based solutions for real-time optimization of refining and chemical processes.
- Develop and configure models using Imubit’s proprietary platform to address process constraints and opportunities.
- Work hands-on with client operations teams to ensure successful adoption and ongoing optimization.
- Provide remote and occasional on-site technical support and training to clients in the region.
- Represent Imubit as a trusted advisor in the field, building strong relationships with operational stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Background: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 3–10+ years in refinery or petrochemical operations, APC, process engineering, or control systems.
- Skills: Strong understanding of unit operations such as FCC, hydrocrackers, hydrotreaters, reformers, ethylene crackers, or similar.
- Technical Tools: Familiarity with APC, RTO, DMC, DCS, historian systems (e.g. PI), and process modeling/simulation tools is a strong plus.
- Language: Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese and proficient in English (written and spoken).
- Mindset: Curious, proactive, and passionate about applying technology to solve real-world industrial problems.
