Job Type: Part-Time/Contract –anticipated 15-20 hours per week


Position Overview:


Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic expert in Change Management and Communications to support the successful transformation of their workflows. As they re-engineer several existing processes and introduce new ways of working, this role will be crucial in managing the change narrative, ensuring clear and consistent communication, and enabling their employees to adapt seamlessly to new workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in change management, process mapping, and developing impactful communication strategies.This role will be part time, approximately 15-20 hours per week, and will involve working closely with key stakeholders across the business to design and execute change management plans, communicate changes effectively, and potentially develop training programs that align with the newly established workflows.

Key Responsibilities:


Change Management Strategy:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans to support workflow re-engineering efforts.
  • Analyze the impact of workflow changes on different teams and departments, identifying key change risks and resistance.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment of change management strategies with company goals.
  • Process Mapping & Analysis:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to map and analyze existing workflows, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the redesign of workflows to streamline processes and improve overall operational effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain documentation of the current and future workflows for internal reference.

Communications:


  • Develop clear, compelling communication plans to inform and engage employees throughout the change process.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, emails, newsletters, and other communication materials that articulate the purpose, benefits, and impacts of the change.
  • Ensure all communication aligns with the company’s values and messaging while being tailored to the needs of different stakeholder groups.

Stakeholder Engagement:


  • Serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding change initiatives, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Facilitate meetings, focus groups, and feedback sessions to keep employees informed and engaged in the change process.
  • Create and manage a feedback loop to gather insights on the effectiveness of communication and change implementation efforts.

Training & Support:


  • Develop and implement training programs or workshops to help employees understand and adopt new workflows.
  • Partner with HR or Learning and Development teams to ensure training content is engaging, comprehensive, and relevant to the needs of the business.
  • Provide ongoing support to teams post-implementation to address any issues or challenges related to the new workflows.

Change Impact Measurement & Reporting:


  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and adoption of change initiatives.
  • Track and report on the progress of change management activities, adjusting strategies as needed to meet objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports for leadership detailing the status of change efforts, employee feedback, and any emerging risks.

Qualifications:


Experience:


  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in change management, communications, or related fields, preferably in an organizational transformation or process re-engineering environment.
  • Proven track record of supporting major organizational changes and managing end-to-end communications strategies.

Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Certification in Change Management is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:


  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to various audiences.
  • Experience with process mapping and workflow analysis tools.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build relationships across teams and departments, fostering collaboration and buy-in.
  • Knowledge of learning and development principles, with the ability to design and implement training programs.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
