The Finance Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department in day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Support the finance team in conducting financial analysis and forecasting.
- Assist with employee expense reimbursements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the finance and HR department as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Previous experience in a finance-related role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
