PURPOSE
The Regional Student Services Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Student Services function across multiple campuses within a designated region. This role is essential in promoting student success through advocacy, engagement, retention, and completion initiatives. The Regional Manager ensures consistency in the delivery of student support services, fosters collaboration between campus teams, and serves as a key liaison between campuses and senior leadership. This position plays a critical role in aligning student support operations with institutional goals, compliance standards, and best practices in higher education.
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Student Affairs, or related field preferred
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in student services or higher education administration
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and leading student support initiatives at a multi-campus or institutional level
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategic decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in using student information systems (SIS), CRM platforms, and data reporting tools
- Strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, and crisis management abilities
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to a student-first culture
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple priorities across various locations
- Experience with Title IX, ADA compliance, and regulatory requirements in postsecondary education
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of Student Services departments across all assigned campuses
- Ensure alignment of campus practices with institutional policies, regulatory standards, and student success metrics
- Guide and mentor campus Student Services Advisors, Coordinators, and other staff; oversee hiring, training, and performance management
- Develop and implement regional strategies to support student engagement, satisfaction, retention, and program completion
- Oversee compliance with policies related to Title IX, ADA, FERPA, and other student services regulations
- Standardize processes for documenting student interactions, interventions, and outcomes to support data-informed decision-making
- Serve as a liaison between campus teams and senior leadership, communicating needs, outcomes, and strategic priorities
- Monitor academic performance and student progress across campuses, identifying trends and implementing region-wide interventions
- Lead and support regional initiatives such as orientations, graduation events, outreach, and student appreciation activities
- Conduct investigations and address escalated student concerns in collaboration with Campus Directors and compliance officers
- Participate in institution-wide committees and contribute to the development of student services policies and initiatives
- Promote a culture of collaboration and accountability among campus leaders to ensure consistent and supportive student experience
