Tradewind Aviation is looking for a full-time Charter Sales Coordinator that

can be remote if resides outside of Oxford, CT. 


The Charter Sales Coordinator at Tradewind Aviation plays a crucial role in driving and expanding charter sales revenue. As a direct contributor, they are dedicated to understanding clients' needs and effectively presenting Tradewind's tailored products. With expertise in listening and assessing client requirements, the Charter Sales Coordinator excels in providing accurate trip quotes via phone, email, and online platforms.Maintaining an extensive knowledge of Tradewind's offerings is a key responsibility for this position.

From the initial opportunity to qualification, availability, quoting, payment, and confirmation, the Charter Sales Coordinator skillfully handles the entire sales cycle.Collaboration is essential in this role, as the Charter Sales Coordinator works closely with various departments including scheduling, scheduled service, client services, dispatch, and marketing. By fostering effective cross-departmental relationships, they ensure seamless coordination and deliver exceptional experiences to Tradewind's clients.In summary, the Charter Sales Coordinator is a pivotal asset in maintaining and growing charter sales revenue. Responsibilities


  • Quote client aircraft charter request with accurate pricing and convert into bookings, maximizing profit and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with retail clients, brokers, agents and special Tradewind accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive responses to client requests and follow up as required.
  • Achieve established sales activity objectives to drive charter revenue.
  • Actively search aircraft charter boards to identify potential sales leads.
  • Outsource flights when company aircraft are not available.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of all company scheduled routes and services. 

Requirements

 Qualifications:  


· Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field preferred.· Part 135 private charter experience preferred. · Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge, computer software & internet proficiency.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Computer proficient.· Ability to handle customer issues in a calm and professional manner.   · Well-organized.· Self-motivated.

Physical Requirements


· Strength to lift 15lbs, and the ability to work in confined spaces.· Regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.

Working Conditions


· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, use of computers and office equipment· Indoor Office setting with standard lighting and temperature
