The House Photographer is the visual heartbeat of The Potter’s House, capturing the essence, energy, and impact of our ministry. This role is responsible for producing
dynamic, high-quality imagery across worship services, events, ministries, and marketing campaigns. With a modern and versatile approach, the House Photographer must be skilled in quick-turn social content, high-end editorial photography, and multi-channel marketing assets—often working in fast-paced, high-energy environments.Reporting to the Content Producer and supporting the Creative Team, this position will play a key role in ensuring The Potter’s House visuals are

Key Responsibilities:
Event & Worship Photography:
- Capture powerful, storytelling-driven images from worship services, conferences, and major events.
- Deliver quick-turnaround images for real-time and next-day social media and marketing needs.
- Maintain an adaptable, discreet-yet-present approach to shooting in high-energy environments.
- Ensure all photography reflects the heart, passion, and excellence of The Potter’s House community.
Marketing & Social Media Content:
- Design engaging social media graphics, motion graphics, and multimedia assets optimized for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Develop on-brand templates for digital and print content, ensuring a seamless look and feel across all channels.
- Collaborate with videographers and content creators to enhance motion-based storytelling with graphic overlays and animations.
- Maintain and update visual assets for website and mobile app experiences.
Portrait & Editorial
- Photograph pastors, speakers, ministry leaders, and members for promotional and editorial use.
- Execute thematic and stylized photoshoots that elevate The Potter’s House brand.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and content producers to integrate imagery into campaigns.
Creative Vision & Editorial
- Work directly with the Creative Director/Head of Creative to ensure visuals align with
- Stay ahead of photography trends, lighting techniques, and editing styles to maintain a fresh, modern aesthetic.
- Support 360° marketing campaigns, ensuring cohesive visuals across photography, video, and design.
- Experiment with creative photography techniques, filters, and visual storytelling methods.
Post-production & Asset management
- Edit, retouch, and color-grade images for maximum visual impact and consistency.
- Maintain a well-organized digital archive of images for easy cross-departmental access.
- Ensure all imagery meets brand and quality standards before final delivery.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in digital photography (Canon, Sony, Nikon) and photo editing software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One).
- Strong experience in event, portrait, and social-first photography with a portfolio of award-winning work.
- Ability to capture, edit, and deliver high-quality images with speed and efficiency.
- Experience working on 360° marketing campaigns that integrate photography with video and design.
- Strong storytelling instincts and an ability to translate The Potter’s House mission into compelling visuals.
- Knowledge of lighting, retouching, and color correction techniques for polished, professional images.
- A must, is the ability to work mandatory weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed for major events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a professional photographer, preferably in live events, faith-based storytelling, or editorial work.
- Experience in videography and motion photography is a plus.
