The Inside Sales & Technical Support Specialist (IS/TSS) elevates and assists to strengthen the relationships TimberHP shares with their distributor and retail partners, as well as product specifiers and installers. This role is responsible for accurately processing orders and following up on delivery inquiries; combined with answering product questions and steering customers and potential customers to TimberHP resources for design, installation, code compliance, and performance standards.Assisting the technical services team in the development of additional customer resources around code and building science topics related to our products.
Requirements
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers
- Develop sales quotes and track customer orders
- Process orders and follow up on delivery inquiries
- Communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders including architects, general contractors, product installers, salespeople and homeowners.
- Ability to understand and utilize industry specific ERP software
- Utilize PO’s and put them through the system in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the sales team daily and communicate with customers on their behalf
- Collaborate with TimberHP’s production team and shipping department regularly
- Maintain current knowledge and training of TimberHP ‘s products and services
- Collaborate with the technical services team on developing best practices, code and building science support resources
- Hybrid remote

Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements:
- Experience or degree in building construction, building science or other related experience.
- Customer service experience
- Previous experience in an inside sales role in the industrial/manufacturing industry helpful
- Knowledgeable about the building process, building science and or building code
- Manufacturing/production experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift >50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to pass a drug test
