Role Overview


We're seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician to maintain our technology infrastructure and support our growing team. This hybrid role combines on-site support at our Austin headquarters with remote device management for our nationwide operations.

Technical Environment:

You'll work with Mac, Windows, and Chromebook systems, manage MDM deployments, perform hardware repairs (screen/battery replacements), configure Point of Sale systems, and troubleshoot network connectivity issues. Experience with video conferencing systems, printer maintenance, and remote support tools is essential.
Proactive Problem-Solving: We value initiative and continuous improvement. You'll be expected to identify technology friction points, research solutions, and propose upgrades.You'll work directly with cutting-edge wellness technology while supporting both our corporate team and 200+ studio locations across our expanding network.

Responsibilities


  • Support the Austin headquarters by maintaining and troubleshooting meeting room technology (e.g., projectors, video conferencing systems), printers, and networking issues (e.g., Wi-Fi, LAN connectivity).
  • Proactively identify and propose technology upgrades to reduce friction and improve user experience.
  • Research and recommend solutions for equipment refreshes, lighting improvements, camera upgrades for high-profile meetings.
  • Respond promptly to ad-hoc IT needs at the HQ office, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Set up and ship hardware (Mac, Windows, Chromebooks) to new employees, ensuring timely delivery and proper configuration.
  • Track and maintain an accurate inventory of all computer systems and IT assets.
  • Configure and manage devices using a Mobile Device Management (MDM) system, including setting up device policies for security and compliance.
  • Perform hardware repairs, such as replacing broken screens or batteries on laptops and other devices.
  • Set up and ship Point of Sale (POS) devices to company studios, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Onboard new employees by setting up their accounts, devices, and access permissions.
  • Offboard terminated employees, ensuring the secure return of company devices and deactivation of accounts.
  • Collaborate with other members of the IT team to maintain a secure and efficient technology environment.
  • Document processes and maintain accurate records of IT activities.

Requirements


  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, device management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Mac, Windows, and Chromebook systems, including setup and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with MDM systems (e.g., Hexnode, Intune, or Google Workspace MDM) and device policy configuration.
  • Basic hardware repair skills, including replacing laptop screens, batteries, or other components.
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) device setup and configuration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and basic network issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills for inventory management and documentation.
  • Ability to work in-office in Austin, TX
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for employee onboarding and support.

Nice-to-Have


  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), or Microsoft Certified Professional.
  • Experience with IT asset management software.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administration.
