Location: RedmondCompensation: $27.41/hour

Hours:

Temporary on-call position planned for 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p

NeighborImpact’s Head Start and Early Head Start program Overview


NeighborImpact's Head Start and Early Head Start programs provide comprehensive early childhood education and family support services to economically disadvantaged families in Central Oregon. These programs serve children from prenatal stages through age five, integrating high-quality early education with essential services such as health screenings, nutrition, and family advocacy.

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:


This is a temporary, limited duration position.The Temporary Bilingual ERSEA (Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Eligibility and Attendance) assists the ERSEA Coordinator in maintaining full enrollment in the Head Start/Early Head Start programs by processing applications, conducting in-person interviews, and determining income eligibility. This role will also assist in maintaining the data system (ChildPlus) while ensuring compliance with policies, correspond with parents regarding application status, and maintain accurate records.

Additionally, they support recruitment efforts, collaborate with the ERSEA team, and communicate effectively with community partners, and attend relevant meetings and trainings as assigned.Requirements

Required


  • Associate degree required 

  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 2 years of experience of full-time equivalent office, administrative, social services, or customer service work required, 
  • And/or professional certifications in family services or ERSEA 
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
    • Must be detail oriented and be able to maintain a high level of accuracy 
    • Required prior to date of hire and throughout employment:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proof of current auto insurance
  • Current enrollment in the Child Care Licensing Division’s Central Background Registry (CBR)
  • Access to reliable transportation 
    • Above certifications must be kept current to remain employed
    • Must have an initial health examination, and a periodic re-examination (as recommended by health care provider)so as to assure that employees do not because of communicable diseases, pose a significant risk to the health or safety of others, that cannot be eliminated or reduced by reasonable accommodation.
