The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in test automation frameworks, cloud-based environments (particularly Azure), and collaboration within Agile teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for applications developed in: C# .NET (Windows Services, Web Applications), Angular (Frontend UI), Electron-based desktop applications, Python-based services and tools.
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases, including regression and performance/load testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to define acceptance criteria, identify defects early, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Create and maintain test plans, test data sets, and relevant testing documentation.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and hidden bugs.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for services deployed in Azure, including: Azure Functions, App Services, Databricks and Data Factory pipelines.
- Validate data integrity and accuracy in collaboration with domain/data teams, especially within Databricks and across data flows.
Hard Skills:
- Experience with UI test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
- Backend/API test experience using tools like PyTest, NUnit, or similar.
- Proficient in testing applications built with C# .NET, Python, and Angular.
- Strong knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs, JSON, XML, and tools such as Postman and SOAP UI.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, boards, test plans) and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with Azure services including Azure Functions, App Services, Databricks, Data Factory, and containerized environments (Docker).
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for quality assurance.
- Fluent English.
