We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented E-commerce Studio Photographer to capture high-quality, visually appealing product images.. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lighting, composition, and post-production techniques specific to e-commerce, as well as a keen eye for consistency. This role reports to the Creative Operations Manager and is crucial in presenting our products in the best possible light to our customers. Candidates must be able to work from our NYC office 3-5 days per week.

You will:


  • Capture high-quality still life e-commerce assets across multiple categories, including apparel, home goods, outdoor gear, luggage, accessories, and more
  • Set up lighting, equipment, backdrops, and composition for each shot ensuring all products are represented accurately and in-line with brand creative photography guidelines
  • Organize and manage photography equipment, ensuring it is well-maintained and readily available.
  • Facilitate clear and proactive communication with cross-departmental teams regarding asset requests, project timelines, and progress updates
  • Retouch studio photography per the direction of senior team members
  • Perform color correction, cropping & image scaling
  • Coordinate sample tracking for photo with merchandizing team
  • Maintain a clean and organized photo studio environment

The ideal candidate:


  • Has a compelling portfolio demonstrating a strong command of e-commerce photography principles and techniques
  • Has advanced knowledge of camera equipment and photography software (e.g., Capture One, Adobe CS, Lightroom)
  • Has experience in lighting, equipment and digital photography techniques
  • Understands lighting control with strobe
  • Can work fast and maintain a consistent high standard
  • Has experience styling products (especially apparel)
  • Is comfortable adapting quickly to evolving needs
  • Has good time management skills and the ability to deliver to targets and deadlines
  • Bonus for experience shooting & editing video as well
