Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare plans and specification for all required entitlements and permits.
- Supervise and direct forming, layout and pouring of all structures such as slabs, columns, planters, and shear walls.
- Conduct pre and post installation inspections.
- Coordinates and oversees all activities at construction site, including inspections.
- Ensure project is being finalized in accordance to plan.
- Monitor costs, schedule and quality of project construction.
- Adherence to construction documents and/or legal requirements.
- Review all vendor invoices for compliance contractors, including insurance and lien requirements.
- Review all construction inspection reports
- Assists in obtaining timely temporary and final certificates of occupancy.
- Assist Property management in maintenance related training and startup operations at transition.
- Organize and oversee walk-thru, sign-offs of unit modifications and punch-list items.
- Responsible for purchase orders, contracts, bid evaluations and estimating budget.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a multi-changing work environment and priorities.
- Contract negotiation, bidding and awarding contracts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; Construction software a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
