Monet Bank (operating under the Beal Bank Texas charter) is seeking a results-oriented Vice President, IT Operations to lead our infrastructure, IT service management, cloud platforms and end-user technology support. This role is critical to maintaining our secure, scalable and reliable technology environment across banking operations. The ideal candidate brings a modern mindset to infrastructure operations, deep experience in regulated financial environments and a focus on operational excellence.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities (included but are not limited to):
- Lead day-to-day IT operations, including network, server, endpoint and cloud infrastructure
- Oversee IT service desk, incident management, disaster recovery and business continuity
- Drive automation, observability and platform stability through DevOps/SRE principles
- Ensure robust cybersecurity posture in alignment with FFIEC and NIST frameworks
- Manage vendor relationships and technology service contracts for infrastructure and ops
- Partner with compliance and internal audit teams to support regulatory reviews and exams
- Provide leadership to IT support and infrastructure teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Job Requirements:
- 10+ years in IT operations leadership, preferably in a regulated financial services context
- Proven success managing hybrid cloud environments (Azure or AWS preferred)
- Deep understanding of security operations, ITIL frameworks, and ITSM platforms
- Track record of modernizing legacy systems and introducing automation at scale
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required; Master's preferred
