POSITION SUMMARY:


The Account Solutions Consultant plays an integral role in new business development and retention initiatives. This position is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing clients and supporting the generation of new business opportunities through prospecting activities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Client Relationship


  • Serve as the primary point of  contact for current clients, ensuring high retention, driving consistent usage, and identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Responsible for pipeline development and closing new deals to fuel Chmura’s growth.
  • Develop strong client relationships, conduct needs assessments, and demonstrate how Chmura’s solutions will support their business goals.
  • Lead renewal discussions and drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Keep clients updated on the most current Chmura products for effective upselling and cross-selling opportunities. 
  • Articulate and demonstrate Chmura’s unique Saas & DaaS offerings, solutions, and functional value. 
  • Conducting quarterly check-ins with all JobsEQ clients. 
  • Track relevant client activities utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs.
  • Manage client licensing activation and ad hoc requests.
  • Oversee new client onboarding activities.
  • Address client questions and concerns by providing solution-oriented responses.
  • Monitor and assess competitor activities to guide and adjust sales and retention strategies.
  • Assist Chmura’s Finance department with client renewals and past-due invoices.
  • Must attain expert product knowledge and become JobsEQ Fit certified within 90 days of hire. 

Business  Development:


  • Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound outreach and warm leads.
  • Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and follow-ups with prospects.
  • Collaborate with the marketing  team to leverage campaigns and content to support prospecting efforts.
  • Negotiate and close new business deals to meet or exceed individual revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, AND EXPERIENCE:


  • An associate’s degree in business  or a related field is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. 
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in sales, account management, or a relevant role in the industry.
  • Proven work history of effectiveness in a team setting; previous experience in a high-volume technology sales or client outreach environment preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining client relationships.  
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software packages; Salesforce experience is a plus.  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills for interacting with clients and internal Chmura teams.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and strategic thinking to find effective solutions to client issues.
  • Working knowledge of sales cycles, lead generation, and client retention strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills to manage client expectations and close sales agreements.
  • Highly skilled in building and maintaining working relationships.
  • Time management and multi-tasking abilities to manage multiple clients, responsibilities, and deadlines.
  • High technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office, CRM software, and presentation tools.
  • Ability to interpret client data and metrics to inform sales and retention strategies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT


  • Primarily office-based with a professional, collaborative, and fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Frequent use of computers, video conferencing tools, and CRM software.
  • May require occasional travel to client sites, conferences, or trade shows (typically less than 25%).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to conduct live or virtual software demonstrations, which may involve standing or presenting for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally (e.g., demo equipment or promotional materials).
  • Clear verbal communication is essential for client interactions and presentations.
  • Visual acuity required for reading reports, analyzing data, and viewing software interfaces.
