Whythisroleisexciting:


Working under the Marketing Director for Greater China, the Associate Event Marketing Manager supports the planning and execution of strategic events aimed at driving brand awareness and generating qualified leads. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to manage event logistics, coordinate campaign messaging, and ensure timely execution across all touchpoints. The focus is on supporting regional events, trade shows, and partner activations, with involvement in related marketing efforts such as WeChat promotions, email communications, and branded collateral.

The role also includes tracking event performance and providing input on ways to improve future engagement and ROI.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in planning the yearly event marketing strategy and maintaining the annual event calendar, including summits, knowledge-sharing salons, co-hosted events, and webinars
  • Demonstrate a strong sense for trending topics and potential speakers; provide input on content planning and guest selection
  • Ability to manage tasks based on priority, with solid time management and execution skills
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales, customer success) and external partners to support event execution
  • Support the end-to-end operations and logistics of events, including vendor coordination, material preparation, speaker communication, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up
  • Assist in managing suppliers and vendors, with basic negotiation skills to help secure competitive quotes and services under team guidance

Does this sound like you?


  • 3 years of experience in event coordination, conference support, or marketing events; hands-on experience in assisting with event operations and logistics across multiple stages is preferred
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with a can-do attitude and willingness to grow into a more independent event lead role over time
  • Outgoing and a team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional and cross-regional teams, as well as engaging with clients or partners
  • Familiarity with the (cross-border) ecommerce or SaaS industry is a plus
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Experience or familiarity with digital marketing channels such as WeChat, EDM, or social platforms is advantageous
  • Comfortable learning and using event-related SaaS tools and platforms
