This role focuses primarily on coordinating the implementation of EHR integrations for data exchange and workflow integration with healthcare systems.

The Technical Healthcare Project Manager will work closely with engineering teams, client experience, operations, and support teams to ensure successful project delivery. Additionally, this role may support internal projects and documentation standardization across departments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a nimble environment and excel at triaging issues and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead external EHR integration projects ensuring adherence to 6-12 week project timelines
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, client experience, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Facilitate communication between technical experts and stakeholders
  • Triage integration issues and coordinate resolution across multiple teams
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure all integration requirements are met
  • Support internal system implementation projects and documentation standardization initiatives
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports for all assigned projects
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders
  • Identify and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies in a timely manner
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and document internal workflows
  • Support process improvement initiatives across departments
  • Other duties as requested

Qualifications | Competencies | Success FactorsQualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • H.S. diploma or equivalent required

Competencies: 

  • Familiarity with FHIR Standards
  • Demonstrated experience with ticketing and project management tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to triage issues effectively
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and subject matter experts
  • Detail oriented with strong attention to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-directed with ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with project management software and tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a nimble, fast-changing environment
  • Knowledgeable in EHR terminology, function, and integrations - particularly Epic & athenaHealth
  • Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines
