Legal Collections Associate

The
Legal Collections Associate is the primary point of contact for legal matters related to tenants in litigation status. This role is responsible for maintaining legal status records, coordinating directly with external counsel, and ensuring accurate financial and documentation processes. Analysts escalate decision-making to Supervisors or Managers as needed.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the primary liaison with external legal counsel for assigned litigation cases.
  • Maintain legal status fields and pursuit notes in MRI.
  • Prepare and dispatch legal packets in coordination with Accenture.
  • Perform account reconciliations and process legal-related transactions.
  • Support A/R reviews and legal reporting.
  • Ensure documentation standards and SOPs are followed.
  • Track legal fee payments and vendor activity.
  • Escalate decision-making and complex issues to Supervisor or Manager as appropriate.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in legal support, lease administration, or real estate operations.
  • Familiarity with litigation processes and financial documentation.
  • Experience with MRI and Salesforce preferred.
