POSITION SUMMARY
As an individual contributor, the HR Generalist supports employees in HR activities including employee relations, hiring, training and development, compensation and benefits, US and overseas payroll and HRIS administration. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Partners with managers to provide HR guidance in support of business objectives. Acts as a ‘go to’ resource for HR services and supports and proactively builds relationships with front line managers and their teams.
- Partners with managers to resolve employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations, recommending and acting upon a course of action.
- Provides assistance to Managers andHR policy guidance and interpretation ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
- Participates in the design and delivery of internal training programs to enhance employee skills and organizational effectiveness.
- Acts as a positive change agent, identifying and participating in process improvement activities to increase efficiency and assists other departments with the successful completion of continuous improvement projects.
- Facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions. Collaborates with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required.
- Generates, analyzes and provides commentary on HR reports such as turnover and compliance metrics in support of data driven decision-making.
- Performs all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, offboarding, entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
- Works with external vendors in support of the planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, employee recognition events, team building activities, holiday parties and anniversary recognitions liaising with external vendors to facilitate.
- Serves as a resource onthe management, use and maintenance of the payroll system (ADP WFN). Prepares and processes bi-weekly payroll for the company in an efficient and timely manner. Improves payroll processing by identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement.
- Assists in compliance efforts to meet Federal, state and local law requirements including ADA, EEO, Affirmative Action Planning, FMLA and employee leave.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, email, internet, LMS, HRIS, time keeping and payroll.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
EDUCATIONMandatory Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or equivalent work experience in Human Resources.
EXPERIENCEMandatory Requirements
- Minimum of three years HR Generalist experience in a fast-paced, multi-location / country environment preferred.
- Minimum of two years multi-state / location payroll processing experience (ADP WFN strongly preferred).
